Last week the kids and I went down to Seminole to meet their new cousin, Spencer Clark. He’s so darling! Amazing how small a newborn seemed to me. McKay looked like a giant!
That evening Joseph and I took the kids to the park to play. It was fun to have one on one time with my brother. When we were at BYU we were always together – taking classes, meeting at the Wilk for lunch, or Sunday dinners. Seems like in recent years, with the hustle and bustle of parenthood, we’re always absorbed in our responsibilities. It was great to have time just the two of us…..plus our five kids. Our kids get along really well and always look forward to playing with each other. James is smitten with Sadie and loves to wrestle her to the ground with hugs each time he sees her. Jax studies and imitates Baby Joseph’s every move. McKay thinks my brother Joseph is fantastic and loves for him to hold him. He’s one of the few adults McKay likes. There is a chaotic happiness that exists when they’re together.
I couldn’t choose a favorite picture of Joseph so I’m posting my six favorite. Could he be any cuter? I think not.
Shannon - What a darling newborn! It looks as if Joseph is working on building his own little baseball team. All those boys are sure going to have fun together.
Eric H. - What a great post! You take great pictures. I loved seeing all the kids!
alicia - Thanks Eric! It’s easy to take great pictures when you have such cute subjects to work with 😉
alicia - Yup! Nothing Joe would love more than his own little baseball team.
Mary Meyers - GREAT pictures and post, Alicia!!! How do you manage to get such great shots of the kids’ expressions??? Those of little Joseph at the end are priceless!!! And I love the picture with all 5 kids sitting on the bench together. Before you know it, little Spencer will be sitting there with them!!! The pictures of Spencer are beautiful!
