Day 9 of our trip (8/19/12) we had to be up early to get out the door by 8 to make it to Provo for Maddy’s baby blessing at 9AM. Not an easy feat for us but miraculously we made it 10 minutes early. The blessing was beautiful. We played at Christy’s house for a little while but had to leave before the luncheon to get the kids down for naps.
Happy for us the family all came up to Heber in the afternoon to visit. My parents, Michael, and Ethan all flew out for the blessing.
We had a lot of fun photographing people doing tricks on the trampoline:
Jax, Sadie, and Ethan were all attached to Matt. He is amazing with kids! He is always sure to give each child lots of attention and listen to all their stories. We’re lucky to have him.
Those chairs sure tip over easily!
I had a lovely time taking pictures of everyone and holding baby Madeleine. It felt heavenly to have a baby in my arms again. McKay is really growing up. It’s nice that things are getting more manageable now, but there’s nothing that compares to the joy of holding a newborn baby in your arms.
After our afternoon of visiting we went up to Memorial Hill in Midway to take pictures of Troy and Becky’s family. They were excellent models and the location was breathtaking.
