7th Anniversary

Ben’s put up with me for a whole seven years now.  Isn’t he great?!?!

Where would I be without him?  I’d be lonely.  So lonely. I’d probably be childless.  Boy, would that be sad.

I’m so happy we found each other.  I’m happy he agreed to marry me.  I’m happy he’s so nice. I’m happy he’s so happy. I’m happy I’ve carried his three babies.  I’m happy he’s the father of my children.  (There aren’t many men I’ve met that I would ever want parenting my children.) I’m happy he still likes me.  I’m happy I still like him…..a lot!  I’m happy when we’re together. I’m happy we still have many, many more years to be together. Love you Ben!

Our happily ever after:

As an interesting side note, Ben and I were married during the weekend Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.  The original path was suppose to take it right through Orlando and I prayed and prayed that it would change it’s course.  It did.  I’ve always felt a little guilty like it was my prayers that caused New Orleans to get creamed.  Even in Orlando we had quite a lot of wind that day.  It was hard to keep my veil in place.

This year it was reported that a Hurricane Isaac would arrive in Tampa on August 27th.  Something about our love must still up the elements.  The storm went further north but we still had some stormy weather.  Thankfully, Sarah was still willing to come and babysit for us.  We went to Carrabba’s for dinner.  We tried to go out for ice cream but all the stores were closed due to the storm.  Probably just as well.  It was a great, peaceful evening.  Thanks Sarah!

 Happy anniversary Ben!!
