Sadie’s Preschool Graduation

We are home from our trips to Oregon and Utah.  Home, sweet home!  Traveling is great but is also makes me appreciate how much I love the simplicity and routine of our every day lives. One of these days maybe I’ll find the time to sort through all the photos and write about our trips.

Today I want to talk about my little Sadie.  She graduated from preschool on Wednesday 🙁  I’m pretty devastated to see the year come to an end.  Although, sleeping in the past two days has been pretty nice.

What a wonderful year it has been.  Sadie’s first year of formal education will always be looked upon and remembered with fondness and happiness.  She’s made so much progress as evidenced by the fact not a single tear was shed at her graduation.  She sang the songs and performed the actions with a smile on her face.  The only tears that were shed were from her mother and father who were so proud.  Sadie has grown intellectually, socially, emotionally, and even spiritually (she’d make a GREAT Catholic; she knows all their prayers now).  We will be forever grateful for her teachers, Ms. Kelly and Ms. Adrienne.  They have been so attentive and fun and such a source of joy for Sadie.  If only they would move up with her to kindergarten in the fall!  It will be interesting to see what the future holds.  Whatever it is we are confident Sadie will be happy and successful!

alicia - I think I briefly mentioned it but I didn’t want you to feel like you needed to come. We got home from the airport SO late and this was first thing the next morning. I felt like it would be too much for you. You’ve been to all the other performances – it was like those but this time she didn’t cry 🙂ReplyCancel
