Dance and Gymnastics

Sadie had her first dance class this past Wednesday. The next door neighbor girl is in it, too. I planned to have her attend just during the summer but with how much she loved it we may have to continue? She couldn’t take her eyes off herself in the mirror and kept twirling and prancing about. She had a sweet, serious look on her face except for when saw me and then she was all smiles.

I was considering putting Jax in the class too, but they said it’s not a masculine dance class AT ALL. The dance class is actually at a gymnastics studio and they suggested I put him in a gymnastics class (Moving Monkies it’s called) which is it almost the same time. Jax had the time of his life! He wasn’t half bad either. Most of the kids in the class were 4 or 5, but the teacher said he could continue to come since he followed directions so well. Sadie’s class starts and ends 15 minutes before Jax’s so she saw the end of his class and begged to do gymnastics instead. They were doing runs and jumps on the trampoline into the big foam pit when she was watching. Maybe next week I’ll have her attend the gymnastics class and let her pick her favorite.
