Utah 2013 – Day 2

On Saturday Ben and his family took off to Idaho to attend the funeral of his 29 year old cousin who had tragically had a heart attack in his sleep.   The kids and I went to see Becky, Jadyn, and Jace in the morning.  The kids had a blast doing dress up and playing with so many new toys.

From there we went to a park in Provo for Madeline’s first birthday party.  It was a beautiful day to be outdoors!  I love the summers in Utah and the soft grass.  Perfect park conditions!

The kids were super excited about playing with their Uncle Matt. I know I’ve said this before but my kids ADORE Matt. He’s the most recent family addition and an uncle they don’t see that often but perhaps the uncle they’re most attached to? He is so fun, creative, silly, patient, and genuinely interested in their thoughts. He’s a kid-magnet!

After the party we stopped by Matt and Christy’s house but by then it was 6:30 and Ben was almost back from Idaho so we didn’t stay long.

It was another great day 🙂
