My lovely sister-in-law, Sarah, and I took the kids to the zoo this week. It was really nice to be able to show Sadie real animals instead of just looking at them in books. She quite enjoyed it!

Sadie absolutely loved the giraffes and elephants, but her favorite animals of the day was…..
….the billy goats! She hugged them and loved them and followed them around. They were very patient with her!
We only were able to see a fraction of the park, so I’m hoping to go back again soon {as is Sadie}.
Kaelyn - How fun!!! I can’t wait to take Rachael to the zoo this year. I think she’ll love it! It looks like Sadie loved actually seeing the animals! She is getting so big! How do you think she is going to do as a big sister?
Heather - Sadie looks like she had a great time! I loved Lowry Park Zoo! In the first two pictures of her looking at the manatees it looks like she is saying “ooo” “aaahhh” lol 🙂
chante - I love the manatees! And I agree, it looks just like Sadie is saying “oooo” and “aaaah.” Which is probably why you posted them back to back 🙂 Glad you guys had fun!
chante - And just to clarify, I realize that there are no manatees in your photos… just that I love the manatee exhibit 🙂
