Grammy’s Jokes

This is some video we took of Sadie tonight. Ben is a really good joke teller as you can tell from the footage. The first joke is the one my mom told last decade and the second joke is from this decade. We have EASILY heard these jokes a thousand times or more. She literally told the first joke to anyone that would listen for at least 10 years and she cracks up laughing EVERY time she tells it. It looks like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Alicia - No, we didn’t edit the video. We discovered last night that Sadie LOVES LOVES LOVES to watch balls bounce. So, we ‘scripted’ the video and every time Ben told a joke I would bounce the ball. Funny, huh?ReplyCancel

Joseph - That was awesome. I figured it was the ball. She performed on cue. She might have a future in front of the camera after a performance like that. Thanks for posting.ReplyCancel

Alicia - Kimmy, I know I shouldn’t encourage you, but I think it’s so funny when you act cocky. Lori, yes, we are going to the activity on Monday. My mom is even entering the fishing contest! Are you guys going to swim in the ocean most of the time? I can’t decide whether to back all the bathing suits and beach stuff or not. It’s so much effort and the idea of being seen in my post-baby body is slightly worrisome for me.ReplyCancel

Lori - NOOOO, I’m just going to chat, and McKenzie want’s to enter the fishing tourney. I want nothing to do with the ocean, tomorrow, what with the hurricane out in the gulf.ReplyCancel

Troy - Kimmy is the best ever! Today she learned how to drive stick! Well just kind of. She got up to 2nd gear. I wasn’t going to show her how, but she said she had a dream about driving stick, so we gave it a whirl in the parking lot outside of Christy’s apartment. She has roommates that love her and made her breakfast this morning, and she’s already been up to Sundance. She’s doing just fine as one of BYU’s newest coeds! (This message was encouraged by Kimmy but penned by Troy)

p.s. I’m glad the most favorite Meyers’ grandchild has already learned to laugh at her Grandmother’s jokes!ReplyCancel
