Am I just a little behind with blogging? Perhaps. I’m considering just ending this silly little blog. Maybe it’s time to move on. It’s been a nice to have a few months ‘off’. Michael got the website back up today, though, and I can’t officially decide to stop blogging so forward I go.
Before I can go forward I have to go back.
To Halloween.
Today is January 15th. (Happy birthday Kimmy and Shannon!)
(I’m just a little behind.)

Dress up # 1 – The Halloween fun began the Friday before Halloween when our church held the annual Trunk or Treat. We were still in the Maldives so Cliffie and Natalie were wonderful enough to get the kids dressed up and take them.
Halloween Festivities # 2 – For Family Home Evening we carved the three huge pumpkins I had purchased at Aldi’s ($3/each!). Apparently I had purchased them too far in advance for on Halloween day we woke up to find a soggy mess.
Halloween Festivities # 3 – Sadie’s school held an after school Trick or Treating Night the day before Halloween. I was leaning towards skipping it but Sadie was so excited. Therefore, we went. It was nothing spectacular and she was so full of shy excitement she barely talked to her friends but I’m happy we went.
Halloween Festivities # 4 – Finally, the Real Deal. The last few years we’ve trick or treated with the Cricchios and Tickners. So, this year was a little lonely and different. Thankfully my parents came up so that was a happy help. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience, although, they always want to end way earlier than I would like. They were anxious to get home and explore their gifts. Who can blame them?!?!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Shannon - I’m so happy your blog is up and running again. We’ve missed getting caught up with you through the blog.
Love the Halloween pictures! How nice to have good weather for trick or treating. I think we’ve only had one nice Halloween while we have been in Ohio. I’m sorry to see what happened to your pumpkins. I’ve never seen them melt like that before.
