The little lady in our family thinks Christmas tree decorating is one of the greatest activities of the year. Lucky for her, it’s also a family tradition to help Gramma Meyers with her tree assembly and adornment every year on her birthday (Dec. 8th). I can picture her carrying several glittery ornaments, prancing around the tree, and humming to herself. So Sadie! We were extra lucky this year, my parents called last week and invited us over for dinner and a tree decorating get together. We were more than happy to help.

I tried playing with time lapse photography. I think I’m going to try a similar thing on Christmas morning so I can sit back and enjoy the family instead of watching the fun through my viewfinder. I just wish I knew how to slow it down. Still working on that….

12/13/14 – Decorating the tree at the Homestead.
Joe - Decorating trees is great. We have a family tradition of having our tree tip over every few years or so after we decorate it. It fell last year so I think we are safe this year – so far, so good.
