My new camera has video capabilities so I’ve been playing around with it a little. It’s tricky because I have to do auto-focus….like turn the ring on the lens as I’m filming. It can be challenging when the subject is moving towards or away from me to keep them in focus. This footage was my first practice (it’s pretty shaky; I”m working on improving), it’s of McKay last week – just after his busted lip episode. He won’t walk on his broken leg, so it’s fun to look back and see my active little boy. He has his cast on now and he only has to wear it for three weeks. Soon enough I’ll be chasing him again 🙂
This was throw together very quickly. It’s not my favorite song, but I didn’t want to take time to find a new one and convert it to a .wav. Also, the original footage was shot widescreen and this video is a smaller size. Consequently, his head gets chopped in some of the clips. I can’t figure out how to avoid that. Need to read a few more articles to problem solve. One day I’ll find the time. Until then this will have to do….
Shannon - Cute video Alicia! I love watching McKay. He sure is growing up. I’m amazed at his ability to push that car all the way up the ramp, climb into the car, and then easily ride it back down the ramp.
