We were very sad to leave Krabi. We had a few final hours there in the morning. A last, lovely breakfast buffet. A final walk around the grounds. It was a beautiful, happy little place for us.
We arrived back in Krabi and took a plane back to Bangkok. Uneventful.
We had a few hours in the afternoon so we went by the famous 7-story shopping mall, MBK. We took the skytrain, public transportation, to get there because there was a traffic jam on the roads. It was interesting. Things were tight. Very tight.
We had a little dinner at the food court and then ran around like crazy grabbing a few things….
We had booked a show that evening, Siam Niramit. It explained a little about the history of Thailand in a very entertaining way. The streets were still not driveable so we took the underground subway. Kindof yuck but, “a good cultural experience” as Ben likes to say 🙂 It was also raining so that made it all the more exciting. The show was pretty incredible – live elephants, stage turned into a floating river, crazy costumes, beautiful music, and educational. I was fighting to stay awake and may have dozed off for a few minutes but I’m happy we went!
One final day in Thailand…..
